Sci fun

• Sci fun is an activity based programme which was launched to popularise science in Secondary schools in goa.

• It aims to enhance the knowledge of students through hands on activities.

• It emphasizes on using throw away waste to make objects through which Scientific concepts can be understood.

• It also shows some of the interesting demonstrations to make understanding o the concepts easier.

• During this academic year,We did our Sci-fun programme in 3 schools viz.M.I.B.K high school Khandepar, Pragati High school and Government High school,juna-bazar

• For our visit at M.I.B.K high school and pragati high school,I had made a presentation of the sci-fun event and i was handling the presentation.

• In Government High school Juna-bazar,I did a common chemistry demonstration on the following topic:
•    Title :Balloon inflation magic.

•     Principle:The main principle is the reaction between baking soda and vinegar.When the vinegar from the flask reacts with the baking soda in the bottle,one of the product formed is carbondioxide which is a gas.the CO2 enters into the balloon and inflates it.
